Caldera has showcased the latest version of CalderaRIP at FESPA Global Print Expo in Amsterdam, but the “best is still to come” for the software developer, according to Valery de March, OEM business development director for Caldera.

CalderaRIP is an all-in-one RIP software for large-format digital printing, with Version 17 the latest upgrade to the program. Highlights of this new version include the official support of macOS Sonoma, the integration of Adobe PDF Print Engine 6.2, more than 30 new drivers, and an extended range of new features to facilitate colour management, printing, and cutting tasks.

“The show has been very good despite the fact that it is a Drupa year,” de March told Sprinter.

“We have made many new contacts, including from Australia, which has been really positive.”

Caldera also promoted new features of its prepress software for digital printing, PrimeCentre at FESPA, however, de March said there are more product launches in the pipeline for the company later this year.

“We have a new RIP coming soon and it will be something revealing for the market, so the best is still to come – stay tuned!”
