Graph-Pak’s Tom Ralph is celebrating the global award presented to Rollem for its Insignia die-cutters.

As the local representative for Rollem, Ralph said he was very proud of the Printing United Alliance 2024 Pinnacle Award for Die-Cutting Equipment.

“Rollem Insignia rotary die cutters continue to rival heavy flatbed die cutters,” he told ProPack.

“My customers tell me it’s simply technology that can’t be ignored – productivity and automation combined with the simplest of set ups that take only minutes. Anyone that would like more information about the Rollem Insignia die-cutters should give me a call,” Ralph said.

Rollem director of marketing, Susan Corwin, was also proud of the award that will be showcased at the Printing United Expo in Las Vegas from 10-12 September.

“Our team is honoured to receive another award acknowledging the significant benefits the Insignia Series Die-Cutters bring to the marketplace. Its well-thought-out design, and unique features paired with an affordable price point give printers and MSPs the ability to enter the growing market of folding cartons and packaging,” Corwin said.

Open to all Printing United Alliance supplier members, the Pinnacle Product Award competition evaluates products that will be available for sale in 2024. A highly qualified panel of judges across the printing industry evaluated the annual contest’s 160+ entries in more than 58 categories spanning analog, digital, output, and non-output technologies.

Award winners will receive a digital badge and will be showcased in the special online winners’ gallery.

“One of the things I like best about our competition is that it is juried, and judges are basing their decisions on objective criteria,” said Dawn Nye, Pinnacle Awards Program Manager, Printing United Alliance. And, with outstanding entries like the Insignia Series they had their work cut out for them.”

Rollem product manager, Kevin Corwin said the Insignia portfolio offers models for a broad range of customers.

I see continued demand for Insignia’s type of technology that replaces traditional cylinder style die-cutters which require hard to find skilled workers. In contrast, the Insignia requires just one operator with moderate training to operate and deliver finished products faster, with multiple processes completed in one pass,”

“It now includes four models with sheet sizes to fit all types of press outputs, plus automatic matrix removal, two types of deliveries, and standard key functions including die-cutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, embossing/debossing, perforating. Optional features include optical registration, batch counting, air blast for hole removal and a PLUS model with a Digital Controls interface.”
