FPLMA Print Awards entries now open

Entries are now open for the Flexible Packaging and Label Manufacturers Association (FPLMA) Print Awards 2024.

The FPLMA Print Awards recognise excellence in print and are an essential opportunity to showcase outstanding innovation and development in the sector.

The entries will be categorised in several verticals, including flexo, offset, letterpress, gravure, digital, combination printing, booklets, screen printing and innovation.

The awards are open to individuals and companies, offering anyone in the field the opportunity to push the boundaries and grow and develop in and for the industry.

All entries must identify the different print parameters described in the entry form and be manufactured between 30 March 2023 and 30 April 2024 in Australia and/or New Zealand for commercial use.

Last year, 300 industry professionals from 85 companies gathered at the 2023 FPLMA Awards at the Crown Palladium on Melbourne’s Southbank. The big winners on the night were MCC and Amcor, each walking away with a hatful of gongs after dominating their categories.

Between them, they scooped all the Best in Show awards, with MCC also picking up the Innovation award. Amcor won Flexo Best in Show for its Cadbury’s Dairy Milk job, while MCC won Labels Analogue Best in Show for its Bundaberg Campfire Rum label, printed at its Queensland facility, and took home Labels Digital Best in Show for its Primal Shiraz wine label, printed in Melbourne.

The night also inducts an outstanding industry representative into the Hall of Fame, and honours two high-achieving individuals with a Merit Award and Apprentice of the Year.

Winning entries can go on to enter internationally recognised packaging competitions, including the World Label Awards and the FFTA Awards.

Entries officially close on 30 April 2024. Get your entry forms here.
