Australian print technology company DFLOW has been named as the software system partner for Dscoop Distributed Print Exchange Platform.

The announcement was officially made this week at Dscoop Edge Indy in Indianapolis, the flagship event of the Dscoop global community, which had more than 1200 delegates in attendance from more than 90 countries.

DFLOW is sold on a software as a service (SAAS) basis to print manufacturers globally.

The Dscoop Distributed Print Exchange platform, which was first announced at last year’s Dscoop, aims to streamline the outsourcing of digital jobs to other members of the Dscoop community.

Trent Nankervis, CEO of DFLOW, said the platform, developed in close collaboration with Dscoop, underscores DFLOW’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency in the printing sector.

“The Dscoop Print Exchange is not just a tool for optimising print production across geographies; it highlights DFLOW’s vision of harnessing innovation and print technology to empower businesses in the rapidly evolving printing landscape.”

According to Nankervis, the solution is designed to not only enhance operational efficiencies and drive sales but also to significantly reduce environmental impact, aligning with global efforts towards a more sustainable future.

“This new solution enables print businesses to operate more sustainably and unlock new business opportunities both locally and globally. It represents a step towards improving customer and brand expectations through innovative and responsible print solutions.”

With a projected reduction in the carbon footprint of delivery by more than 60 per cent, the Dscoop Print Exchange aims to also help the industry’s push for environmental sustainability, and contributes towards Dscoop’s goal of halving carbon emissions among its members.

“By improving the utilisation of production assets, the Dscoop Print Exchange empowers Dscoop members to drive volume and sales. This optimisation can help businesses leverage their resources to foster growth and sustainability.

“The Dscoop Print Exchange represents DFLOW and Dscoop’s shared vision for a collaborative, efficient, and sustainable print industry. By introducing this service at Dscoop Edge Indy, DFLOW is not only showcasing its technological innovation but also reinforcing its role as a leader in the global print technology sector.”
