Labels Connect expands digital printing capacity with Screen L350 UV

Melbourne-based custom label printer Labels Connect has enhanced its digital printing capacity with the deployment of the Screen L350 UV Inkjet press.

With the support of partner, Jet technologies, the Screen L350 UV Inkjet press will help Labels Connect streamline digital printing jobs for its diversity of customers.

“When looking for high quality, productive digital label press that was well supported by one of our partners, we couldn’t go past the Screen L350 UV Inkjet press,” Label Connect general manager Ken Strachan said.

“Jet Technologies have been a partner of Labels Connect, and with Screen’s equipment renowned for its precision, designed for reliability and consistency, and the local expertise, it was clear the L350 UV was the perfect solution.

“With the current upwards development of digital presses, especially UV Inkjet, we are very eager to enhance our digital printing capacity with one of the best systems on the market.”

With a wide range of clients, Labels Connect said it can utilise the versatility of the L350, being able to print a wide variety of label stocks without the need for priming, as well as utilising any width material between 100mm and 350mm.

“Labels Connect were not new to digital printing, but they were new to inkjet, which made the transition very easy and without any disruption to operations. From the increased capacity the press has already provided, as well as the ease of functionality and the increased uptime, we are positive that the solution will help Labels Connect to further perfect its digital prints,” Jet Technologies sales director David Reece said.

“With this installation completed a couple of months ago, we are pleased to welcome Labels Connect into the Screen L350 family, which is continuing to grow across Australia and New Zealand.”
