The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), in association with the Flexible Packaging and Label Manufacturers Association (FPLMA) and Surface Coatings Association Australia (SCAA), is hosting a webinar on 29 September.

The webinar, around the topic of sustainable materials, inks and machinery, will bring together industry experts to share the latest technology on sustainable label consumables used in printing.

Speakers include Currie Group A/NZ labels and packaging director Mark Daws, Result Group general manager Michael Dosser and DIC Australia A/NZ technical manager Brad Wheeler.

The session will be interactive and will allow participants the opportunity to better understand the current state of play in Australia and New Zealand.

“If you would like to learn about how the labelling and product identification industry is working towards meeting the 2025 National Packaging Targets and lowering their environmental impacts, then this webinar series is for you,” AIP said, in a statement.

The webinar will commence at 10am AEST on 29 September and is free for AIP, FPLMA and SCAA members only.

Attendees will attain 1.5 points towards their Certified Packaging Professional Designation.
