Jet Technologies showcases latest Screen Truepress unit at its demonstration centre

Jet Technologies is set to welcome the latest Screen Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S model to its demonstration centre in Sydney this month.

The latest innovation to the Australian printing industry, the L350UV inkjet label printing system aims to bring an advanced level of productivity to the market, delivering full colour definition alongside high-opacity white printing.

Offering high-productivity rates, Jet Technologies says the L350UV delivers a 20 per cent boost in throughput for colour printing compared to the previous model, as well as a 67 per cent productivity increase with its highest opacity white printing method.

Other standout features in the new series include improved quality and stability, easy application and board application, as well as exceptional registration accuracy for micro-droplet support security printing.

“We are very excited to welcome this new innovation to the A/NZ market,” Jet Technologies sales director David Reece said.

“We now already have clients printing 20,000 lineal metre runs, and with the substantial improvements to productivity experienced from the L350UV SAI series, there is no reason why they can’t aim for even larger print runs that have, until recently, been restricted to the domain of flexo.”

The addition of orange and blue to the current configuration, along with CGS colour matching using CxF data, also enables printers to achieve an extremely wide range of the colour gamut, with extremely high levels of repeatability; with the extra colours also providing a noticeable reduction in ink usage.

“The L350UV is able to print on an extremely wide range of local and imported materials, and we are glad to have worked alongside Jet Technologies to bring this product to life in their demo centre,” Screen GP managing director Peter Scott said.

“The current installations in Australia and New Zealand report uptime in the range of 92 to 97 per cent, including the oldest installations that are approaching five years. The aspect of reliability and intelligent performance delivered by the L350UV is something we are most proud of.

“Any press will be reliable when it is new, but to maintain this high level of performance after many years, that is what Screen is renowned for.”

The L350UV SAI S model will be operational from January 2021 in the Jet Technologies demonstration centre in Sydney.
