DIC has appointed Australian Graphic Servicing (AGS) as its sheetfed distributor for the Victorian region, penning an exclusive agreement which sees the two companies strengthening their long-standing relationship.
DIC COO Richard Kemp said, “As part of our ongoing business improvement strategy, we are excited to announce the appointment of AGS as our exclusive distributor for DIC sheetfed inks, coatings, and consumables across Victoria.
“AGS is our natural choice because of their high standing in the local market. They have a network of expertise and are dedicated to the commercial printing industry.”
In a move that sees the two businesses strengthening their co-operation, Victorian customers will see value added to their supply chain with product locally warehoused in Melbourne.
AGS sales manager Andrew Dunn said, “This is a positive move for both companies where AGS will have full access to DIC’s latest technologies and support.
“This agreement has taken effect on 1 June 2022 and, it will encompass most of DIC’s small, medium and large customers in Victoria apart from a handful of national corporates.”
AGS have been operating for almost 30 years providing the printing and packaging industry with equipment, technical services and consumable products.
Dunn said, “We wish to make the transition for DIC customers as seamless as possible where they can access our full range of consumable products and, in most cases, there will be next day delivery without minimum order spend.”
“We are proud to be partnering with a global company that is not only committed to being the world’s best supplier of inks but is also focused on the importance of maintaining harmony with the global environment. We are looking forward to welcoming new and existing DIC customers to the AGS family,” AGS director Glenn Maynard added.
