Zero Co launches new refill system to tackle growing plastic waste problem

Zero Co has unveiled its newest refill system, named ForeverFill, in a bid to tackle growing plastic waste problem.

ForeverFill is a paper-based refill system. It is designed to work seamlessly with the company’s new Forever Bottles, which are reusable, durable and constructed from 90 per cent recycled materials.

“At Zero Co, we’re on a mission to untrash the planet. But it’s a mammoth task, and we’ll only get there if we constantly innovate and push the boundaries of sustainability,” the company said.

“This month, we’ve taken a giant leap forward by unveiling our new ForeverFill system. It’s not just one new product; it’s an overhaul of our entire range that’s better for you, your family and our planet.

“Our entire line now uses a fraction of the plastic it did before. The new design reduces plastic packaging by up to 97 per cent compared to other formats (bottles, pouches and sheets).

“When we launched Zero Co, we believed a closed-loop system (where you return and refill pouches) was the best way to tackle the single-use plastic problem. But over time, we’ve come to realise that it’s not the perfect solution, and there’s a better way.”

In addition, by shipping new packaging and clever concentrates, the company added that it will shrink its carbon footprint by up to 75 per cent.

“With ForeverFill, you can now use our products, recycle them at home (in your home recycling bin) and repeat. For good. No more returns needed,” Zero Co said.

“A small part of our range will be reformulated into dissolvable tablets and raw powders to reduce costs, reduce plastic waste, and enhance your cleaning experience. Details to come.”

Current Zero Co customers will receive free replacement of Forever Bottles to kickstart their ForeverFill journey.
