interpack will be launching a new Women in Packaging event for the first time on 8 May, with everyone invited to attend.
interpack said it is proud to support women with their own event, and within the framework of the trade fair, to contribute to a diverse industry, to provide opportunities for more young talent to come in to the industry and for better chances for developing a long term career in a global community.
Under the title ‘Women in Packaging’, interpack will be hosting this inaugural event, explicitly designed to learn more about the women in the wider packaging and processing industries.
Sharing their experiences on the panel are Valentina Aureli, CEO of Aetna Group in Italy, Dr. Afsaneh Nabifar, group leader for the global market development of biopolymers at BASF, Australian Nadia Taylor, co-founder and Director tna solutions, Marjo Halonen, vice-president of communications at Metsä Board Corporation in Finland and Gabi Bauer, head of marketing and communications at Uhlmann Pac-Systeme.
The five panelists are internationally successful, pioneers in their areas, marketing experts and founders of companies, role models and inspirations for others in this industry.
World Packaging Organisation vice-president of sustainability and save food Nerida Kelton will be the moderator for this panel discussion.
This event will allow attendees to not only learn from the panelists successes, challenges and career pathways but also profit from their advice, learnings and recommendations.
The forum will take place at interpack at 12pm on 8 May in the International Lounge on the ground floor of the trade fair skyscraper.
