Iconic confectionary brand, Violet Crumble, is now available in bag format.
After being withdrawn for ten years, Robert Menz has re-introduced the bag format now that it begins production in Adelaide factory in 2018.
CEO of Robert Menz, Phil Sims says, “there’s been huge consumer demand for the return of the Violet Crumble bag since it was withdrawn nearly a decade ago, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring this format back.”
Consumers are becoming more aware of plastic pollution but are, at the same time are looking for single serves and on the go consumption.
The on the go pack formats consist of 80g bars to 100-150g bags, the range of formats triggers impulse purchases for on the go snacking.
“It’s a great choice for those wanting to share the snack with friends, or exercise some portion control if they don’t want to indulge in a 50g Violet Crumble Bar.”
“We’ve been inundated with enquiries from customers wanting to bring the bag bac, but having been off the shelves for a decade, there are many people out there who have never tried it.”
“Its’ a real privilege to have custody of such iconic Australian brand so by rolling it our in different formats we can offer more choice and flexibility for people to enjoy Violet Crumble However they want to.”
