Tarsus Group, the organiser of the Labelexpo Global Series, has appointed Jade Grace as its new labels and packaging division managing director.
Grace will be responsible for overseeing direct management of the event and publishing business as well as spearheading growth into new regions and sectors.
Since joining the Labelexpo Global Series team in 2004, Grace has held several positions, including event director and, most recently, portfolio director, before her promotion to managing director.
She has been instrumental in the growth of Labelexpo Europe and the portfolio in Asia, opening the India office and relaunching the group’s presence in Southeast Asia.
Grace commented, “I am delighted to lead the group’s labels and packaging division, carrying on with our commitment to be the best platform for this dynamic industry.
“I look forward to leading the team as we create new opportunities for our clients, especially at this exciting time as the packaging and material science sector becomes increasingly central to our industry.”
Tarsus Group director Lisa Milburn added, “Many congratulations to Jade on her well-deserved promotion, at a time when the business is bouncing back and in the run-up to our largest event of the year, Labelexpo Europe 2023.
“Jade has been integral to the success of the Labels Group over the last few years. She is committed to helping our customers grow and succeed, and I’m confident that her hard work, commitment to the industry and exceptional leadership will take the group from strength to strength. I wish Jade and the entire team every success going forward.”
Earlier this year, Informa, an international academic markets, B2B markets and digital services group, acquired Tarsus Group for US$940 million to enhance its presence in growing regions.
In May, Tarsus Group also announced that after decades of presenting label innovations in Brussels, it decided to move the tradeshow to Barcelona from the 2025 edition.
Labelexpo Europe 2023 will go ahead as planned in Belgium in September 2023.
