Durst Oceania managing director Matt Ashman is looking to expand the business in Australia to respond to the growth in the labels and packaging industry.
“Following the continued interest among existing commercial printers who are entering the short-run labels and packaging category, we are looking to expand our team,” Ashman said.
“I am looking to employ a technical sales representative specialising in labels and packaging that is happy to chat to customers, open doors and close some sales.
“This employee also has the opportunity to develop a career pathway within the business to becomes a sales manager at Durst. We are looking to start this staff member immediately to respond to the ongoing growth in the category and the need for enhanced customer service and support. We continue to receive a large number of enquiries for new Durst equipment despite lockdowns taking place throughout a large swathe of the eastern states of Australia.
“The ideal candidate is someone who knows the industry and is prepared to get out amongst it. We are searching for a fresh, enthusiastic, and innovative technical sales and application specialist who will be able to communicate clearly with labels and packaging customers at a technical level and help specify solutions for their needs and business requirements.
“This is a new role within the business following the growth in the labels and packaging category and we look forward to welcoming the successful candidate into our team.”
The labels and packaging role will be based at the Durst head office in Victoria and will report directly to Ashman.
