Durst will be hosting an Open House with Omet, at the premises of their customer, Idea Rolmarkem, in Italy, on 12-13 March where attendees will get to explore its production site and experience the Durst – Omet XJet 420 printing system in person.

Durst labels and flexible packaging sales director Thomas Macina, Durst labels and flexible packaging business development manager Francisco Eichhorn, and Idea Rolmarkem general manager Max Bacchieri will welcome attendees and present the solution portfolio at the venue.

Following that is a company tour of Idea Rolmarkem, after which there will be a deepdive into the capabilities of the Xet.

Attendees also have the option of taking a self-organised trip to Omet’s HQ in Molteno or visit the Omet Factory and Innovaiton Park later in the afternoon on 13 March.

Durst further strengthened its partnership with Omet to develop hybrid printing systems in September 2023, bringing its expertise in digital printing and production technologies to the partnership, while Omet contributes its specialisation as a manufacturer of flexographic printing systems.

Durst confirmed the future of this partnership will see hybrid printing systems developed and manufactured, increasing the company’s focus in the labels and packaging segment.
