DS Printech China has been deferred yet again as the emergence of COVID-19 cases in different provinces of China continues.
The event, which was due to take place in March, will now take place from 18 to 20 May 2022 in halls N4 & N5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
“In light of the evolving situation of the pandemic across the globe, and the continued emergence of COVID-19 cases in different provinces in China, we have decided to postpone this edition of DS Printech China,” Messe Frankfurt (HK) senior general manager Wendy Wen said.
“The decision was made to support the government’s outbreak containment efforts, and to protect the wellbeing of all fair participants. On behalf of the organisers, I would like to thank all industry players for their continued support and understanding.
“An online business platform will be available to serve the industry in the interim period. We believe the fair in mid-May will continue to provide the digital and screen-printing sector with exciting business opportunities, and we look forward to hosting the industry in Shanghai at this time.”
The 2020 edition of DS Printech China in Shenzhen hosted 200 exhibitors and 8,853 visitors, while there were over 130,000 online participants.
The fair, a platform dedicated to the digital and screen printing industry, is a rebranding of two events: CSGIA and Textile Digital Printing China. The fair is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, China Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association (CSGIA) and Guangzhou Teyin Exhibition Service.
