Durst is inviting Australian printing and packaging specialists to attend a label exhibition at its head office in Brixen, Italy in April.
“We are looking forward to hosting our own mini label trade show at our head office in Brixen at the end of April as we are fortunate to have the resources and space to be able to do it, in our customer experience centre,” Durst Oceania managing director Matt Ashman said.
“We are hosting this ‘open house’ event where people can attend for the whole day with demonstrations of new equipment in the morning and networking in the evening as well as the opportunity to kick-back and enjoy the surrounding mountains in the local area.
“By blending the best of both worlds – panel discussions and product demonstrations with networking at the Durst bar and lounge after hours – this provides businesses with the opportunity to rub shoulders with others around the world from different countries and cultures. This provides additional benefits of absorbing the challenges and opportunities these businesses are facing from a broad cross-section of markets and industries.
“I know from attending international trade shows that the most insightful thing to do is share industrial intelligence where there is no fear of direct competition – this is invaluable for business.
“We have received a large number of registrations from Europe and the US – but this is a global event and all countries are invited to attend as all sessions will be conducted in English.
“This is our answer to LabelExpo and attendees will be able to see precisely what Durst was going to be showing in Brussels.”
Among the products on display will be the latest innovations within the Durst Tau RSCi range as well as integrated solutions and finishing equipment from companies including ABG and Omet.
“While we do not sell finishing equipment – we recognise that ABG are among the best in the world at what they do,” Ashman said.
“ABG supplies us with flexo pre-coat and post-treatment units that are built into the Durst product and there are also Omet machines with integrated Durst print engines.”
Also in attendance at the Durst label event will be representation from UPM Raflatac, Scribos, Avery Dennison, Actega and Fedrigoni.
