AIP to host virtual tour of Oji Fibre Solution on 26 October

The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will be hosting a virtual tour of Oji Fibre Solutions for its members on 26 October.

Oji Fibre Solutions is one of Australasia’s leading producers of market pulp, paper and fibre-based packaging, with aligned logistics and paper recycling services in New Zealand, which closes the loop on its value chain and makes it a key contributor to the circular bio-economy.

Oji Fibre Solutions creates shared value by harnessing the strength of sustainably managed New Zealand grown radiata pine, to produce quality products that are used every day in households and businesses across Australasia, and in 30+ countries around the world.

Proudly part of the global Oji Group – the fifth largest pulp and paper conglomerate in the world, the company aims to have the stability, strength, and support to grow in the Australasian region.

During this virtual tour, AIP members will learn more about Oji Fibre Solutions, how its 10 packaging plants and six distribution centres across Australasia support primary industries, and witness how corrugated packaging is manufactured at its five-star green-rated facility in Yatala.

As a part of the virtual tour, they will also have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of some of the Oji Fibre Solutions Team including its Australia packaging managing director Wolf Lorenz, Queensland state sales manager Jason Cairns Lawrence, account manager Sheahan Perera, quality manager Sophie Guenon and manufacturing manager Kerwin Ritchie.
