Technology expert Seamus Byrne will provide a deep dive into the benefits and challenges faced by the packaging industry from Artificial Intelligence at the ProPack Packaging Forum in Sydney on Friday 25 October.
Byrne is an award winning writer, journalist and broadcaster with two decades of experience covering the future of technology, digital culture and its impact on business and society. He was the founding editor of Gizmodo Australia, editorial director at CNET, a columnist for the Australian Financial Review and remains a regular technology commentator on ABC Radio. He is currently conducting new research into the emerging impacts of AI on media platforms.
In his presentation, Byrne will take a look back at how we got to where we currently are with Artificial Intelligence locally and globally and highlight some of the key advantages that it provides businesses both now and into the future.
“I will be sharing what will happen to the world in the years ahead because of Artificial Intelligence and how this might affect the packaging industry. I think it’s important to not just talk big picture but look at practical implications of emerging tools and the opportunities they create,” Byrne said.
