As sustainability becomes increasingly important across the industry, PacPrint25is taking a leadership role in showcasing environmentally responsible practices and products for the print, packaging, signage and the wider graphics communications sectors.
This year’s event will feature solutions designed to help businesses address their environmental impact while meeting rising consumer expectations for eco-friendly practices.
PacPrint25 organisers say exhibitors will present a range of eco-conscious options, from biodegradable materials and fibre-based substrates to energy-efficient solutions and more.
Innovation to remove waste, improve our footprint and cater to the growing customer demand for greener manufacturing solutions that minimise waste and make it easier for print businesses to adopt sustainable alternatives without compromising on quality or performance.
“Sustainability is a critical part of the future of our industry,” PacPrint25 chair Kirsten Taylor said.
“Our exhibitors are bringing innovations that allow businesses to make meaningful environmental improvements in their operations, aligning with both regulatory pressures and consumer values.”
In addition to product showcases, PacPrint25will host a series of panels and discussions focused on sustainability challenges and solutions to share knowledge and experiences from the signage, print and supply sectors on environmental mapping solutions.
Experts in sustainable printing cover a range of topics, from waste management and resource efficiency to the complexities of navigating eco-certifications and regulatory standards. Sessions will provide attendees with valuable insights into practical strategies for reducing their environmental impact, whilst minimising cost and regulatory burdens.
PacPrint organisers also said in sharing industry experiences and exhibitor innovations, the tradeshow aims to show that eco-friendly practices are not only achievable but can also drive new business opportunities in appealing to environmentally conscious clients.
PacPrint25 has also committed to sustainable solutions, as will the Sydney Showground, with a goal to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030 and actively working to minimise impact on the environment.
PacPrint organisers’ banners from the show will be reused for shelters, bags and sleeping requirements for the homeless or to schools and charities for craft and other uses.
In connecting sustainability-minded businesses, PacPrint25 also sees value in sharing how the industry has adopted eco-friendly practices and help the print and packaging sectors take meaningful steps toward environmental responsibility.
PacPrint25 will run from 20-23 May 2025 at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. For more information about exhibiting, contact exhibitions@visualconnections.org.au or call +61 2 9868 1577. For more information about the show and all the latest news, go to www.pacprint.com.au.
