Screen becomes CERM’s new premium integration partner

Screen Graphic Solutions Co. has announced it has become CERM’s new premium integration partner, enhancing the latter’s commitment to delivering innovative, fully integrated solutions for the label and packaging printing industry.

Screen joins the likes of CERM’s other premium integration partners – ABG, Esko, and Hybrid Software.

CERM focuses on providing comprehensive Management Information Software (MIS) that streamlines the entire production process – from pre-production to printing, finishing, and shipping.

The premium integration partner designation identifies partners like Screen, whose technology integrates seamlessly with CERM’s MIS, creating an efficient, automated workflow that drives productivity.

SCREEN was selected for this partnership for its outstanding contributions to the label printing industry. Its EQUIOS workflow management software was found to be a perfect match for CERM’s MIS, enhancing the automation of label production.

This partnership builds on a decade of successful collaboration, starting with the installation of Screen’s Truepress LABEL L350UV press in Springfield, UK.

“CERM is always eager to integrate with partners within the industry and/or increase functionality on existing integrations. The CERM-Screen integration is a perfectly example of a continuously improving integration,” CERM Asia-Pacific territory manager Richard Maarschall said.

“It is an honour to be included in CERM’s premium integration partnership and it makes a lot of sense with many Truepress Label L350UV customers already benefitting from efficiencies gained by integrating with CERM’s very popular MIS,” Screen GP Australia managing director Peter Scott said.

The integration between CERM’s MIS and Screen’s EQUIOS facilitates a fully automated label production process.

CERM’s MIS converts customer orders into Job Definition Format (JDF) files, triggering a seamless workflow into EQUIOS. This setup minimises operator intervention and can reduce production time by up to 74 per cent, said CERM.

“With Screen joining our network of premium integration partners – alongside ABG, Esko, and Hybrid Software – we can now automate nearly every step of the label production process,” CERM marketing manager Sebastiaan Hermans said.

“As we continue to expand the list of premium integration partners and the more we work together with Screen’s EQUIOS workflow, the more in-depth the integration between our solutions becomes, then both systems can be further streamlined with our other premium partners, and the result is a better final product for our shared clients.”
