Signet executives are preparing for the integration with the Spicers business scheduled for 2 April.
In an interview with ProPack at the recent APPEX exhibition in Melbourne, Signet general manager – sales and procurement, James Poulsen, and Signet regional sales manager – south west, Alistair Dowling, said they were looking forward to working with Spicers.
“We are very excited to announce that we are working as an independent business within Spicers. We look forward to working with Spicers’ customers,” Poulsen said.
“Echoing what James said, we are very happy to be part of the Spicers Group. April 2 is the big day when we join the family. There is a big range of new products available to you in this packaging category – everything from stretch film to paper products – it is very exciting and we are looking forward to seeing what we can bring to the table.”
It was first announced in February that the Spicers Group had entered into an agreement with Winson Group to acquire Signet Packaging.
Signet, a supplier of packaging, protective papers, marking, and other business supplies, will continue to operate as an independent entity within the Spicers Group.
