Omni Group appoints new managing director

Omni Group has announced the appointment of Jonathan Salisbury as managing director, who takes the reins from his father and Omni Group founder, Timothy Salisbury.

Jonathan, who has spent more than a decade working in the business, was previously head of supply chain and machinery.

Timothy, who founded the business in 1992, will remain with the company as chairman – focusing on strategic growth of the business.

Under the leadership of Timothy, Omni Group has grown into a national leader in the packaging industry, developing award-winning pallet wrapping solutions that have earned recognition both nationally and internationally.

The company owns state-of-the-art in-house machinery and a service department nationally, and most recently established its own production of Australia’s only locally made void fill packaging papers.

“For over 10 years, I have had the privilege of learning from my father, and I am incredibly grateful for the guidance and mentorship he has provided,” Jonathan said.

“Our success to date would not have been possible without Tim’s vision and dedication. Stepping into the role of managing director is an exciting opportunity, and I am proud to lead Omni Group as we continue to strengthen our footprint within the industry and deliver on our brand promise: Response, Resolve, Rely”.

Timothy said, “Having had the privilege to learn so much from so many over 32 years, it’s a perfect opportunity now to have the next generation embark on the same privileges. With their passion and strength, it will pave the road for the next part of Omni journey. My own support on strategic alliances is very exciting”.
