Hundreds of industry leading suppliers will showcase live demonstrations of the latest flexo, digital and hybrid narrow web presses alongside automated finishing lines at Labelexpo South China 2024.
The show takes place from 4-6 December at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center.
Over 180 exhibitors will be taking part in this year’s show, including Epson, Label Source, Pulisi, Zonten, HP, OMET, DMS Digital, Fedrigoni, and more.
Epson will be demonstrating the latest versions of its SurePress L-4733AW and L-6534VW digital label press. The SurePress L-4733AW uses Epson’s latest AQ water-based ink and is designed for short and ultra-short print runs on mainly paper based stocks, coated and uncoated. The L-6534VW is an LED-UV curing inkjet press including digital varnish station.
Label Source will showcase its inline flexo press and Hanlabel hybrid press. The Hanlabel hybrid press can be configured with a wide range of conventional and digital options including flexo stations before and after the digital unit, tactile digital varnish and cold foil, and is supplied with CCD auto registration and Inline Inspection.
Pulisi will show its two digital press models, the DSMART-220 and DPIM-330. The DSMART-220 prints up to 60m/min on a 220mm width at up to 1200x600dpi in four colours with optional white. The flagship DPIM-330 series supports print widths up to 520mm and can be configured with a range of modules including flexo coating, cold foiling, digital varnish, laminating, slitting and defect quality management. Pulisi also shows its latest SUENASE Sprint automatic inspection-rewind machine.
Zonten will debut its 235 digital printing press and TEBA-450 flexo press. The 235 digital press prints in five colours (CMYK+W) which covers around 85 per cent of the Pantone colour gamut. An opaque white allows printing on transparent materials. The TEBA-450 is a 10-colour fully servo-driven inline flexo press with options including cold foil, silk screen, turn bar, delam and relam, die cutter, slitting and sheeter.
Labelexpo Global Series managing director Jade Grace said, “Flexo, digital and hybrid press technology has grown significantly in the Chinese label and packaging market over the last few years. “The growth of the digital label press industry has been accelerated by the increasing market demand for short-runs, customisation, multi-SKUs, and shorter delivery times, but also because of increasing cost pressures faced by converters. Labelexpo South China 2024 will be the perfect opportunity to see this growth really come to life.”
