Label manufacturer and printer supplier Label Power is looking for UV flexographic label printers to join its team in Acacia Ridge, Queensland.
The individuals need to be qualified flexographic printers with printing experience in the label industry, eager and open to learning and operating new presses, and be reliable, hard-working and self-motivated, in addition to working well in a team environment.
“With brand new Bobst and Omet UV flexographic machines now fully operational, and continued business growth, we have great opportunities for experienced flexographic printers to join our amazing team, working on either the day shift, 6.00am to 2.06pm, or the afternoon shift, 2.00pm to 10.06pm, Monday to Friday,” Label Power founder and CEO James Malone said.

Some responsibilities of the role include:
- The independent operation of label printing presses from start to completion of job, including tasks such as reviewing job bag prior to start to ensure materials are available, including ink, die/s, plates, raw stock etc.
- Producing high quality labels to standard and allocated times while taking care of equipment and contributing to a positive, supportive, and high performing team
- Preparing press, mounting plates and running sample for QC approval
- Ensuring customer expectations are met via scheduled allowances for running jobs and meeting quality standards
- Performing basic routine maintenance regularly and report mechanical problems immediately to ensure equipment is kept clean and safe
- Following established MIS procedures
Only Australian citizens or those with rights to work in Australia will be considered for this role. However, any highly skilled UV flexographic label printers with excellent English skills and are willing to fulfil the Australian immigration requirements are welcome to make contact for future long-term openings.
