Tom Sullivan, who was previously the Vietnam regional general manager at Detmold Group, has been appointed as CEO at QLM Group.
Simon Pugh was in the group CEO role at QLM Group, and following Sullivan’s appointment has moved to the role of managing director of the business.
Sullivan brings to this role an extensive experience in the printing and packaging industry, including a 27-year tenure with the Detmold Group.
QLM Group said his management and production experience covers a broad range of projects, utilising technology and innovation to deliver strategic sales and operational growth to the company.
His experience working with talented and passionate professionals will be one of the key drivers for the development of the QLM Group.
“After 27 years with the Detmold Group, it is with mixed feelings that I am moving on. This decision has been a difficult and challenging one, but I believe it is the right time for me to take on a new challenge and explore new opportunities,” Sullivan mentioned on his LinkedIn profile, following his departure from Detmold Group.
“I am extremely grateful to the Detmold Group for the opportunities, experience, and growth that they have provided me over the past 27 years. I have had the privilege of working with some of the most talented and passionate professionals in the industry, and I am proud of the many accomplishments that we have achieved together.
“As I move on to the next chapter of my career, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. I am looking forward to using the skills and knowledge that I have gained during my time at Detmold to contribute to new and innovative projects.”

The QLM Group operates throughout Asia Pacific and has manufacturing locations in Brisbane and Melbourne for labels and flexible packaging.
It is an Australian-owned company, delivering flexible label and packaging options to Australian businesses.
Sullivan will now be based in Australia and provide comprehensive support to the Asia Pacific team.
