Specialist folding carton converter, Said Khoury, from United Printing & Packaging is confirmed as one of the presenters at the inaugural ProPack Packaging Forum.
The ProPack Packaging Forum will take place from 9.00am to 3.00pm at Shangri-La Sydney during the day on Friday 25 October, alongside the 2024 FESPA Australia Conference and prior to the 2024 ProPrint Awards later that evening.
Said’s presentation, sponsored by Koenig & Bauer, will discuss his journey after buying United Printing & Packaging (UPP) in February 2014 following a 17-year career in the labels industry.
Within 12 months of buying the business, Khoury’s hard work saw sales double and within five years the company relocated to new premises in Western Sydney.
UPP now focuses on delivering a high level of service to folding carton customers in the pharmaceutical, animal health, cosmetic and FMCG markets.
Khoury has recently purchased a new Koenig & Bauer Rapida 76 offset press which provides customers with packaging featuring speciality substrates and complex specifications.
UPP is a proud Australian-owned company that works closely with its customers from prototype and concept stage through to final packaging and point of sale solutions including folding cartons, shelf-ready packaging as well as UV printing on substrates including PET, PVC, and polypropylene.
The inaugural ProPack Packaging Forum would not be possible without the support from its sponsors:
