Esko has promoted Eddy Fadel to the role of vice-president and general manager of its packaging suppliers business unit. 

In his new role, Fadel will have global responsibility for business operations relating to packaging converter and premedia trade shop customers around the world.

This includes not only the sales, services, product management and R&D of the Esko CDI (digital flexo platemaking) and AVT (print inspection) solutions, but also all sales and service activities for the expert packaging and label software solutions. 

“I am as proud as I am thrilled to have been given the responsibility of leading this fantastic team, and I look forward to collaborating with them as we continue to develop solutions that help our customers overcome the many challenges they face today, and will face tomorrow,” Fadel said.

Fadel joined Esko and Danaher in May 2017 as regional business director EMEA South, before being promoted to EMEA vice-president in June 2018.

More recently, he became vice-president of commercial Esko suppliers in November 2021, where he oversaw global sales, services, marketing and product management.
