CERM offers software solutions for an integrated workflow, designed specifically for the industrial labeling and packaging sector.

“We see MIS as a pyramid with four different layers,” Van De Walle told ProPack at drupa.

“The base layer is the internet where we connect with suppliers and partners. The second layer is the MIS manufacturing, where we integrate with the machines on the shop floor or with prepress workflows like ESKO or Hybrid, printing devices from HP, for example, and finishing machines like ABG.

“The third layer is the core label for us of the MIS, where we manage all the different steps from estimating, until invoicing. And on top of that, we have a Smart BI layer for reporting in the cloud.”
