Label manufacturer and printer supplier Label Power has won an international award – the Excellence with Inkjet Labels Award at the Digital Labels & Packaging Awards 2025 for its Coastal Moon Dry Gin Label.
The label was printed using Label Power’s Epson Surepress L-6034 VW.
Epson UK commercial and industrial account manager Christopher Smith received the award on behalf of Label Power at the Kia Cricket Ground in London.
“I’ve very proud to hear that Label Power Australia has won the Digital Labels and Packaging Awards 2025 in the category of Excellence with Inkjet – Labels category,” Label Power founder and CEO James Malone said, on hearing about the win.
“What a fantastic achievement for both Label Power and Epson! I wish I had had tickets to the UK for this now, but to be honest I would have been wearing the same shirt, same haircut and same smile as Christopher Smith from Epson.”
Epson A/NZ managing director Craig Heckenberg said, “Congratulations to Label Power on taking out the Excellence with Inkjet – Labels category at the 2025 Digital Labels and Packaging Awards.
“James and the team at Label Power are at the top of the label game and this award is testament to their dedication to quality, innovation and print performance using Epson SurePress technology.”
The Surepress L-6034 VW is Epson’s first linehead, inkjet label press with LED UV curing ink, enabling high-speed printing that’s ideal for short-to mid-run jobs, producing labels with outstanding scratch and weather resistance.
The newly developed PrecisionCore linehead, center drum system, and digital varnish deliver high-quality images. The space-saving, compact design integrates all of the functions required for label production, such as Corona Treater, White ink, digital varnish, and an additional UV curing unit.
